Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are, and acceptance of these terms

Exporum, operating as the Korea Expo Organizing Committee (“Korea Expo,” “we,” “us”), operates the Korea Expo LA website and organizes Korea Expo LA 2026 (October 22–24, 2026, The Magic Box, Los Angeles, California). By browsing this site, pre-registering to visit, or applying to a programme such as the K-POP Dance Blast Contest, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Definitions

• Site means this website and any page or subdomain we operate for Korea Expo LA.
• Services means browsing the site, visitor pre-registration, and applying to any programme we run as part of the event, including the K-POP Dance Blast Contest.
• You / user / applicant means anyone who browses the site, registers, or applies to a programme.
• Programme-specific rules means the eligibility criteria, schedule and rules published for a specific programme (for example, the K-POP Dance Blast Contest rules).

3. Our services

The site lets you browse information about Korea Expo LA, pre-register as a visitor, and apply to participate in programmes we run. We do not operate a login account system: each service is used by submitting the information requested at the time.

4. Eligibility and accuracy of information

You must provide accurate, current information when you register or apply. Some programmes have their own age and eligibility rules. The K-POP Dance Blast Contest is open to adults only: the representative and every team member who appears in submitted material must be 18 or older, with no exception for parental or guardian consent — an entry with anyone under 18 connected to it is ineligible. Visitor pre-registration is open to individuals aged 16 and over; someone aged 0–15 cannot register themselves (see our Privacy Policy for how accompanying children are handled). We may refuse or cancel a registration or application that does not meet the applicable eligibility rules, or that contains false information — including a false statement about anyone's age.

5. Programme-specific rules

Where you apply to a specific programme, that programme's published rules and its page-specific privacy policy (for example, the K-POP Dance Blast Contest Application Privacy Policy) apply in addition to these Terms. If a programme's rules conflict with these Terms on a point specific to that programme, the programme's rules apply.

6. Content you submit, and the license you grant us

Where you submit material to us — a team logo, introduction, performance video, photographs, or similar — you keep ownership of it. By submitting it, you grant Korea Expo a non-exclusive license to use it to run the relevant programme (for example, publishing it on a public voting page) and to promote Korea Expo events, on the following terms unless a programme's rules say otherwise:

• Territory: worldwide
• Media: online, social media, print, broadcast and on-site display
• Duration: 3 years from the date of the relevant event or performance

You confirm that you own or have the right to submit the material, that everyone appearing in it is 18 or older, and that each of them has agreed to this use. We do not sell your submitted material to third parties for their own advertising. You may withdraw this license for your own image by writing to expo@k-expo.org; we will stop using it in new material but may be unable to remove it from material already published, printed, or from a group performance where you cannot be separated from the whole.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Provide false information, including about your age or a team member's eligibility
• Impersonate another person or misuse another person's identity or personal information
• Submit material you do not have the right to submit, including music, choreography or footage that infringes someone else's rights
• Interfere with the operation of the site, including by attempting unauthorized access
• Harass, defame, or disrupt other applicants, judges, exhibitors or our staff
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate your access to the services, cancel your registration or application, and remove content you submitted, if you violate these Terms.

8. Photography and filming at our events

We photograph and film Korea Expo LA to document, report on, and promote the event and future Korea Expo events. Notices are displayed at entrances and filming areas. If you do not want your image used, tell venue staff or write to expo@k-expo.org; see Section 7 of our Privacy Policy for detail.

9. Intellectual property

The Korea Expo name, logo, programme names (including K-POP Dance Blast: Stage) and site design are the property of Exporum and our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use them except as we expressly permit.

10. Third-party links, exhibitors and sponsors

The site may link to, or display content from, exhibitors, sponsors and other third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their websites, products, services or privacy practices. Visiting a third party's stand, scanning your badge with an exhibitor, or following a link is at your own discretion and subject to that third party's own terms.

11. Disclaimers

The site and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any programme will proceed exactly as scheduled.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Korea Expo and Exporum are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount, if any, you paid to us for the relevant service (which for pre-registration and contest applications is typically zero).

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the site, or the services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a claim, we encourage you to first try to resolve the dispute informally by writing to expo@k-expo.org; we will do the same.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Where a change materially affects an active registration or application, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
